I managed to briefly gatecrash the Summer 2002 BOS conference where I stayed for a few hours on the Saturday morning. It was nice to see the regular crowd and a few new faces. The range of books for sale was superb, as always and I managed spend rather more that I had intended. I didn't have much room left on the camera, so I only have a few photos. I have since obtained a much larger memory card, so expect many more at the next conference!
Some more photos (including a rather unflattering one of me) can be found in the October BOS magazine.

David Brill is the BOS chairman and a superb folder. He always manages to make everyone feel welcome at the conferences. He manages to create wonderful wet-folded figures that always have a lifelike feel to them - these photos hardly do the models justice! Here are a cat and a mouse from his selection of models.

David King brought another selection of his impressive work. There were a number of supercomplex models by Hideo Komatsu, including several minatures. If you ever meet him - ask to see his box of tiny models. You may need a magnifying glass to see some of them. He also brought a selection of his jester masks along. The center of the mask is a Joiselesqe face taught at the BOS spring 2000 convention. David has added the frills and hat to produce a selection of very attractive models.

Here are a selection of other models. I did make a list of the folders but have managed to lose it. Please let me know if you are the folder and I will update this page. Included are Max Hulme's phoenix and a moose design by Fumiaki Kawahata
